Shalena grew up reading all kinds of books, playing basketball, participating in pageants, and obsessing over all things Lord of the Rings.

When she’s not working on spreadsheets and databases as part of her day job, she reads, writes, makes TikTok videos, and helps lead her local writing group.

She currently lives in Tennessee with her husband and their fuzzy feline overlord, Ruby.
